A Black-and-White Wedding Rooted in Love, Service, and Home

At Trump National Golf Club in Mooresville, North Carolina, Chloe and Cameron celebrated a love story shaped by extraordinary timing, years of devotion, and a shared belief in showing up wholeheartedly for the people they love. Their wedding brought that story to life through sculptural white florals, dramatic black-and-white design, meaningful traditions, and a celebration that never lost sight of what mattered most: being together.

Some love stories begin with perfect timing. Chloe and Cameron’s began with timing that almost didn’t happen at all.

They met at Liberty University during Chloe’s sophomore year and Cameron’s unexpected fifth year. A shortstop for Liberty’s baseball team, Cameron had already completed his eligibility when the COVID-19 pandemic granted him an additional season. Had that season never happened, their paths might not have crossed.

Even more remarkably, the two had grown up only about an hour apart in North Carolina. It took leaving home—and one unexpected extra year—for them to finally meet. A mutual friend introduced them when Cameron showed up at Chloe’s apartment one day, and from there, they were nearly inseparable.

Their relationship would eventually span much greater distances. Cameron left for flight school in Oklahoma to pursue his dream of becoming a United States Air Force pilot, and for two years, Chloe traveled from Raleigh nearly every month to be with him as he earned his wings and trained to fly the C-17.

After graduation, Cameron brought their closest family and friends together in Wilmington, North Carolina, to ask Chloe to marry him. When it came time to plan their wedding, that same emphasis on togetherness became the foundation for everything that followed.

Designing in Black and White

Chloe and Cameron wanted their wedding to feel sophisticated and elevated, but above all, they wanted it to feel like them.

The visual language began with a restrained palette of black and white, then grew through texture, scale, candlelight, and layers of sculptural white florals. Hospitality Butler’s design process considered the entire guest experience—from the ceremony composition to the reception furnishings, linens, lighting, bars, walls, and graphic black-and-white dance floor.

White florals brought softness and movement throughout the celebration, while black elements created contrast and a tailored sense of drama.

That balance extended into the fashion. Chloe’s bridesmaids each selected a black gown that reflected her individual style, while Cameron wore his United States Air Force Dress Mess uniform—a deeply personal representation of the career and service that have shaped so much of their life together.

The result was formal without feeling rigid, dramatic without excess, and personal at every turn.

A Ceremony Filled With Meaning

Guests were welcomed with champagne on the veranda before gathering for the ceremony.

Chloe and Cameron’s college friend Zach Clinton officiated, making an already intimate moment even more personal. Rather than relying solely on traditional vows, the couple exchanged promises they had written themselves—one of the moments they would later name among their favorites of the entire day.

Following the ceremony came another unforgettable moment: Cameron’s military saber arch.

Many of his fellow Air Force pilots had taken leave from demanding schedules to celebrate alongside them, making the tradition especially meaningful. It was a striking tribute to a part of Cameron’s life that has also become an important part of their story as a couple.

Aviation appeared in subtler ways throughout the celebration, too—including one particularly beloved member of the wedding party: Chloe and Cameron’s Doberman, Jet.

An Experience Made for Their Guests

Creating a beautiful environment was only part of the vision. Chloe and Cameron wanted the wedding to feel joyful, welcoming, and engaging from beginning to end.

That meant thinking beyond how each space looked to consider how guests would experience it.

Production began days before the wedding, with Hospitality Butler overseeing the installation of staging, structural elements, draping, furnishings, linens, ceremony seating, florals, and other environmental details alongside the creative team.

Throughout the wedding itself, guests encountered live music, onsite calligraphy, a live painter, fragrance bar, photo booth, and personalized touches—including an Old Fashioned for Cameron and a Dirty Martini for Chloe.

Each detail offered something to experience, but the intention behind them was simple: bring people together.

And Then, the Party

For all the precision behind the design, Chloe and Cameron had one more non-negotiable: a packed dance floor.

After the first dance, family dances, dinner, cake cutting, and toasts, the celebration shifted gears. The dance floor opened—and quickly became the heart of the room.

It’s one of our favorite transformations to witness. The carefully designed space stops being something guests simply admire and becomes something they inhabit. Jackets come off. Friends pull one another onto the floor. Every table, floral arrangement, candle, and carefully considered detail becomes the backdrop to something much more important: the memories being made inside it.

For Chloe and Cameron, that was always the point.

Coming Home

There is a beautiful symmetry to Chloe and Cameron choosing North Carolina for their wedding.

They grew up here, only an hour apart, without ever meeting. They had to leave home to find one another, and their relationship later carried them between North Carolina and Oklahoma as Cameron pursued his Air Force career.

Then, on May 23, 2026, they returned to North Carolina to begin their marriage.

Their wedding was elegant and meticulously considered, but its most memorable qualities weren’t found in any single flower, table, or design detail.

They were found in handwritten vows. A military saber arch. A room filled with family and friends. Jet joining the festivities. And a dance floor that remained exactly as Chloe and Cameron had imagined it: full.

Because the best celebrations don’t simply look like the people at their center. They feel like them.
